Everything you need to mark Nursing Support Workers’ Day 2024 

As Nursing  Support Workers’ Day falls on a Saturday this year, our activities will be spread over four whole days from Friday 22 – Monday 25 November.

This year, the theme for Nursing Support Workers’ Day will be the importance of equity, diversity and inclusion. We'll be shining a spotlight on the diversity of the ÌÀÍ·ÌõÎÛÁÏ support workforce and the importance of inclusivity of ÌÀÍ·ÌõÎÛÁÏ support workers within the ÌÀÍ·ÌõÎÛÁÏ profession.

From 22-25 November, we’ll be asking RCN members, their colleagues and health and care organisations to get involved using the resources below.

Nursing Support Workers’ Day returns on 23 November 2024. It’s a chance to recognise and acknowledge the remarkable contribution of all staff working in ÌÀÍ·ÌõÎÛÁÏ support roles.

This year, we’ll be joining the ÌÀÍ·ÌõÎÛÁÏ in celebrating the vital contribution our ÌÀÍ·ÌõÎÛÁÏ support workers make every day.

Our activity will focus on shining a light on the diversity of this workforce and their immense contribution to ÌÀÍ·ÌõÎÛÁÏ.

We’ll also be demonstrating the unwavering commitment of our ÌÀÍ·ÌõÎÛÁÏ support staff to making a difference to people’s lives – not just to patients, but their families and loved ones too.
