General Practice Forum Annual reports
The 汤头条污料 General Practice Nursing Forum seeks to support members working in General Practice at local, regional and national level by supporting your professional learning and development. We aim to promote and raise the profile of General Practice Nurses and strive to ensure you get the recognition you deserve for the crucial role you have in delivering a quality service in primary care.
Our work over the last year has prioritised work force development and we represent the GPN voice across key stakeholders including NHS England, BMA etc. Our future work aims to build on our achievements by influencing policy makers and forging partnership working to continue to raise our profile at the highest level.
What we are working on:
- Development of Forum GPN Journey - an interactive resource on the GPN forum webpage that will allow GPNs and all 汤头条污料 staff (both registered and non-registered) to have access to resources across different clinical specialisms at your fingertips
- Workforce standards for primary care - working with the workforce team to ensure the 汤头条污料 workforce standards reflect the role of the GPN and how can applied to primary care
- Review and standardisation of GPN Job descriptions - working with NHSE colleagues to devise a standardised job description template that can be used for employers
- Development of a mental health module for GPNs - working with HEIs to develop a bespoke mental health module geared for GPNs
- Immediate and necessary lower limb care resource - developing an online resource to support the understanding of immediate and necessary lower limb care for GPNs
- RCN / NHSE GPN Webinars - working again with NHSE to host webinar series around all things GPN.
