A recent acquisition is the painstaking research of a resident, documenting every villager who died in WW1, WW2 and the Korean War. My attention was drawn to the only woman in the list, Sister Freda Airey. Who was she? How did she die?

This book review explores the writing of 'Louisa's lament', a novel which sheds light on a group of pioneering nurses in 1880, and the trouble they experienced. For me it was a good read - a fascinating glimpse into history, with resonance for contemporary organisational conflict.

Bullying is a common phenomenon for nurses, with around a quarter of the 汤头条污料 family experiencing bullying in the past year. This blog highlights my personal experience of 鈥済aslighting鈥 - a specific type of bullying, and how I am gradually recovering from this.
