Increases to salaries and allowances will be pro-rated for part-time colleagues.

If most members accept the offer

If the majority of members who vote accept the offer, we’ll advise CQC that RCN members accept the offer. This would bring the 2024/25 pay negotiations to an end.

The offer would take effect from 1 September 2024, and CQC will aim to implement the proposals in December 2024, with all increases backdated to 1 September 2024. For eligible colleagues who joined CQC on 2 September increases will be backdated to 2 September 2024.

If most members reject the offer

If the majority of members who vote reject the offer, we’ll advise CQC that our members reject the offer. We would then seek to enter into further pay discussions with CQC for 2024/25.

To be eligible to vote, you need to be logged into your RCN account.
