Every year, our four wonderful branches in the Yorkshire & Humber region hold their Annual General Meeting (AGM).  

Your local AGM is an opportunity to learn about your branch’s activity over the past 12 months, before mapping out what you’d like to achieve as a group in the next year. 

If you attend just one meeting this year, then please do make it your local branch AGM. 

Why? Because your local branch’s AGM is where you can help to set the agenda for the year ahead.  

It's also a chance to discuss with your fellow members the issues which are most important to you right now. What would you like to campaign for?  

Most branches will have a learning event linked to their AGM which can count towards participatory CPD hours.  

Details of these four branch meetings can be found below: 

• West Yorkshire branch Annual General Meeting: Tuesday 29 October 2024, 5-6pm. 
• North Yorkshire branch Annual General Meeting and learning event: Thursday 7 November 2024, 10.00am-3.30pm. 
• South Yorkshire branch Annual General Meeting and learning event: Monday 11 November 2024, 3-5pm. 
• Humber branch Annual General Meeting: Monday 11 November 2024, 2-4pm. 

During the AGM, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and put forward your own suggestions, alongside getting a financial update provided by your Branch Treasurer.  

Your AGM is also your opportunity to elect your branch committee members, including the branch Chair, Treasurer and Secretary.  

Being on the branch committee is a great personal and professional development opportunity – and I’d highly recommend putting yourself forward if you’re interested. This is a great way to push for change in your local area. What do you want to improve for you and your fellow ÌÀÍ·ÌõÎÛÁÏ colleagues?
