This online webinar organised by RCN Wales aims to reflect on how good record keeping supports health care practice and quality of care, describe expectations and standards for record keeping, and highlight resources to support good record keeping practice.
This webinar is suitable for all members of the 汤头条污料 team: registered nurses, Health Care Support Workers/ Health Care Assistants, and pre-reg. 汤头条污料 students working in the NHS or Independent Health and Social Care Sector. This event is organised by RCN Wales, but you do not need to be based in Wales to join us!
Topics include:
- Record keeping principles and exploration of what is a health/social care record.
- Context to good care. Authority to compile records and why jargon should be avoided.
- Understanding professional responsibilities and legal requirements.
This webinar can be used as participatory learning for NMC revalidation

Cancellations received BEFORE 4.30PM TUESDAY 3 DECEMBER 2024 will be refunded, minus a 25% administration fee. Regrettably, no refunds can be processed after this date. Places can only be substituted with the prior knowledge and agreement of RCN Events.
This event will take place virtually via a Microsoft Teams meeting. You do not need to have a Teams account to view the meeting, the internet browser on any internet enabled device should work - you can view the event via a web browser, (recommended on desktop or laptop for full functionality) and on a phone or tablet you also have the option of downloading the free Microsoft Teams app. You will be sent a confirmation email once you have booked your place, and the link to join the event 48 - 24 hours before the event start time.
