"I have been fortunate enough to be nominated and gone on to win the RCN Nurse of the Year 2023. Even though my journey has only just begun, I have had an incredible year filled with opportunities.

"This award has given me the platform to shine a light on liver disease, which is normally hidden under the Gastroenterology umbrella. It will certainly be the highlight of my professional career and I  am forever grateful. More excitingly, I am looking forward to the future opportunities that will continue to arise from this amazing platform."
