RCN Scotland Nurse of the Year Awards 2025
The ÌÀÍ·ÌõÎÛÁÏ in Scotland is delighted to be holding its Scotland Nurse of the Year Awards in June 2025.
The awards are designed to recognise, highlight, and celebrate the dedication and outstanding professional care of ÌÀÍ·ÌõÎÛÁÏ staff across Scotland.
From rural communities to the big cities, from the NHS, care homes and others in the independent sector, we are looking for nominations that demonstrate the best of ÌÀÍ·ÌõÎÛÁÏ â€“ through innovation, excellence in practice, leadership, and commitment.
We’re looking to celebrate and honour the incredible work of Scotland’s ÌÀÍ·ÌõÎÛÁÏ staff, day in, day out. We want you to share experiences of inspiring ÌÀÍ·ÌõÎÛÁÏ practice and showcase innovative nurse-led projects that are making a difference for patients, residents, and service users.
Nominations are now open for 12 categories. Entries are accepted from nurses or midwives nominating themselves or their own teams or can be submitted on behalf of another nurse/midwife or ÌÀÍ·ÌõÎÛÁÏ/midwifery team. Non-ÌÀÍ·ÌõÎÛÁÏ colleagues such as managers or consultants could also nominate their ÌÀÍ·ÌõÎÛÁÏ/midwifery colleagues. Entrants did not need to be a member of the RCN.
The nominations process is now open and you have until 10 January 2025 to submit your nomination. Please click a category below to tell us about your outstanding nominee.
